Leticia Olga Rubio-Lamia

Leticia Rubio-Lamia is an Associate Professor at the Department of Human Anatomy, Legal Medicine and History of Science, the University of Málaga (Spain).  She is the Leader of the Working Group 1 of the COST Action CA22106-Migrant Disaster Victim Identification (MDVI), MC Member of the COST Action CA24147-Artificial Intelligence Driven dental AgEstimation Network (AID-AgE) and Co‑Lead Investigator in a consolidated IBIMA research group. Her work combines interdisciplinary and collaborative approaches across forensic medicine, pathology, anthropology and health sciences education, with a particular focus on legal and ethical issues. She contributes to international initiatives aimed at improving standards in the investigation and identification of deceased individuals, with publications addressing forensic biomarkers, medico‑legal methodology, uncertainty in death investigation and the practical challenges of identifying skeletal remains.
